With over 20 years of military service, including as a submariner in the United States Navy, Taurean has honed his leadership and commitment to service. Transitioning from the military, he has focused his career on breaking barriers and fostering equity in conservation and community development.
As Founder of The Servicemen, Taurean brings his passion for connecting generations through meaningful initiatives like Operation Planting Seeds, which combines environmental conservation with mentorship and personal growth for young people. His innovative programs emphasize the importance of sustainability, self-esteem, and collective impact, inspiring others to take action for the greater good.
In addition to his work with The Servicemen, Taurean served as the Diversity Strategist and Director of the Diversity Joint Venture, a groundbreaking initiative merging DEIA principles with conservation careers.
